What historical items are arriving nearly daily for the new Museum of Redlands?

That is the subject for the Redlands Historical Museum  Association/MOR upcoming program later this month.

Presenting the history on some of the many donated items will be A.K. Smiley Public Library staff members Maria Carrillo, Katie Montemayer, Don McCue and  Nathan Gonzales (photographed below from left to right).  With the library's Heritage Room as the major collecting point for items, they have been working since the museum's groundbreaking in January 2021 to accept and find storage for the many items being acquired.

"This presentation will give the public some ideas on what we all need to be saving to showcase our Redlands History," said Nelda Stuck, RHMA co-founder.  "The items have wonderful stories."

The program will showcase what is being accepted – items from a hundred years ago as well as items from today's history, including such memorabilia as COVID pandemic items and signage from recent city ballot measures.

Come hear about the accumulating history of Redlands!
