The Museum of Redlands and the Redlands Historical Museum Association are thrilled to welcome back our signature history programming! Join us for a special afternoon celebrating our local heritage.
Program Schedule:
1:00 PM - "Redlands Historical Books" program featuring Dr. Larry Burgess
Until 4:00 PM - Redlands Historical Book and Memorabilia Sale until 4:00 PM
Event Highlights:
Lively Local Lore: Noted historian and former director of A.K. Smiley Public Library, Dr. Larry Burgess, shares fascinating background stories from lesser-known regional authors. A number of the books being sold were utilized in his upcoming book, "Tales from the Zanja" (publishing late 2026).
Historic Memorabilia & Book Sale: Browse a massive public sale of the Monte and Nelda Stuck collection, featuring nearly 500 cataloged, Redlands-related books and unique duplicate memorabilia items collected since the 1988 Centennial.
Shop with Purpose: 100% of the proceeds from the collection sale will directly benefit the new Museum of Redlands.
The program begins at 1:00 PM, with shopping open until 4:00 PM. The book/memorabilia sale continues Monday, June 8, from 10 AM - 2 PM at the Contemporary Club.
