Fourth MOR-a-Palooza Sale a Resounding Success

The numbers are in. Once again, the community of Redlands came together to produce a fantastic estate sale over two weekends in November.

The request for donations of furniture, art, books, china, crystal and other treasures went out to the public in August. Esri loaned the project a storage space for those who could not wait to donate until the Grigsby building was ready for use in late October.

Over $55,000 was raised to go toward finishing the new museum being built at 1 North Center Street.

RHMA Board Member Char Burgess thanked all who helped make the sale a reality. “This whole effort would not be possible without Carol Betancourt, her ‘sale buddy’ Joan Spangrud, and their team of wonderful helpers. Bud Feldkamp graciously loaned the building for a third year. Redlands Antique Auction helped us realize enhanced prices for some special items and IEJunk.com donated their time and equipment to move most of the items from the storage space to the sale.
